A year after Amos & Linda Stoltzfus where married, the pastor of their home congregation sensed the call ministry on their lives and encouraged them to pray where God may be leading them in ministry. With the blessing form both of their parents and the church, In 2002, Amos & Linda Stoltzfus with their family heeded to the call God in their lives and formed Light of Hope Evangelistic Ministry. The first few services were held at local Federal prison and from there the ministry grew.
Due to the growth of the ministry, in 2009 the Lord surrounded them with a three-member board of directors to help bring guidance and fulfillment to their vision and calling to share the Gospel of Christ through preaching and singing.
In 2017 their home church had sensed the calling on their lives to do the work of Evangelist and was ordained to go into all the world and preach the gospel wherever the Lord leads them.
Although, ministering in prison is close to the Amos Stoltzfus family’s heart, and will continue to minster in prison as time and opportunity allows them.
Light of Hope Evangelistic Ministry primary focus is to ministry hope to men and women behind the fences through evangelism & discipleship. This is carried out through prison crusades, prison services, softball outreach, bibles and discipleship materials.
